This is a brief history of the time we have the park. No one can tell the story before us better then the ones that were there so there is no point in trying. Here is our Story!

How Hurricane Paintball Park became Palm Bay Paintball Park

Hurricane Paintball Park was awarded by the City of Palm Bay, Florida to Nightmare Inc in December of 2020. After the previous management had to walk away because of the COVID 19 Pandemic and other reasons. The name of the paintball field changed to Palm Bay Paintball Park once Nightmare Inc took over the Contract.

From the Beginning!

I can remember the moment we saw the Facebook post; Hurricanes Paintball Park in Palm Bay Florida was closing its doors. Not only, was that post gave us a grime outlook on Florida's paintball industry. But also, our own course for the future and how we need to navigate these difficult times. A 10+ year paintball mecca was being wiped off the map, what does that mean for us! How was Nightmare Inc going to survive if this couldn't? Our minds were racing for days, yet after some deliberation Frank and myself vowed we wouldn't let that happen. So, from that day we spent every waking moment working on a way to reopen the Hurricane paintball park. We spent what felt like endless days making calls and waiting for responses that honestly had no answers. When the park went up for bid we spent the next 3 months working on our proposal to manage the park for the City of Palm Bay Florida.

During that same time we were also dealing with the economical effects of the pandemic, forced closure and supply chain restrictions. Around July of 2020 the original Nightmare Inc Paintball & Airsoft store located in Port Saint Lucie Florida was receiving rent increases every month. Which forced us to close that location in October and move to another one with the assistance of a friend and local business person, we found the perfect spot for the new shop. located in the center of the Hannan Environmental Services Complex in our home town of Port Saint Lucie Florida.

With the submittal date getting closer every day, we finished all our requirements and submitted all our paperwork. One would think, that with all this waiting we would have been use to it by this point but we weren't. That was one of the longest months we have ever sat through. But with patients and dedication to our craft, the proposal was accepted and we received the contract to manage the park. Hurricanes Paintball Park will now rise from the ashes and be reborn as Palm Bay Paintball Park.

The Story Continues:

So, over the past three years, significant transformations have occurred within Palm Bay Paintball Park. These changes include a deepened understanding of our customers' preferences and needs. We have also optimized our facilities and operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness in meeting customer demands. Furthermore, we have upgraded our equipment to accommodate the expanding customer base and maintain high service standards. Including adding both Airsoft and Gellyball to our offering, we are getting closer to our goal of being the best park in Florida.


Let's begin by expressing gratitude to all the individuals who have contributed to and supported this exciting and fulfilling journey in the world of Paintball. Thank you to the fellow players, coaches, referees, event organizers, sponsors, and employees who have made this experience memorable and rewarding. Your camaraderie, guidance, sportsmanship, and enthusiasm have truly enriched the Paintball community and made this journey a truly unforgettable one.


Our paintball rental fleet has experienced significant growth over the past three years. When we first started, we had a modest fleet of 20 paintball rental packages available for our customers. However, due to increasing demand and popularity, we have expanded our fleet to over 80 paintball rental markers today. This growth in our rental fleet has allowed us to accommodate more players and provide a wider range of options for our customers. With a larger selection of options to choose from, players can find the perfect rental marker to suit their preferences and play style.


Our commitment to providing top-quality equipment and excellent customer service has been instrumental in the growth of our rental fleet. We are constantly updating and upgrading our inventory to ensure that our customers have access to the latest and most reliable markers on the market.

Overall, the expansion of our paintball rental fleet from 20 markers to over 80 markers in just three years is a testament to our dedication to providing the best possible experience for our customers. We look forward to continuing to grow and improve our rental fleet to meet the needs of our players.
